What does "Kill the Tiger" mean?

"Kill the Tiger" is a side bet in some Baccarat games, where players can bet that the hand with a total value of 7 (formed by taking the sum of the values of the cards) will not win. Depending on the specific rules of the game, this side bet may also be referred to as "Kill the Ox" or simply "Kill." If the player's/Dealer's hand receives a three-card total of seven and loses the game, the Kill the Tiger side bet pays out 30-1.

The casino gives players the chance to wager against the game's dominant trend by providing the Kill the Tiger option. Players that place this bet will win if the banker's hand consistently wins. But those who gamble on the Kill the Tiger option will forfeit their wagers if the banker's hand fails or the streak continues.
