PLO stands for Pot Limit Omaha, which is a popular variation of poker. The game is very similar to Texas Hold'em in that each player is dealt four hole cards, and must make the best five-card hand possible using two of their hole cards and three of the five community cards. However, in Pot Limit Omaha, players must use two of their four hole cards when making their hand, as opposed to two of their two hole cards in Hold'em. Additionally, the betting structure in Pot Limit Omaha is different than in Hold'em, as players can only bet up to the size of the pot in any given betting round.
