The fifth and final communal card given face up to the table following the turn is referred to as the "river" in poker. Many well-known poker variations, including Texas Hold'em and Omaha, heavily rely on the river.
The dealer will deal the river by setting one card face up on the table adjacent to the turn after the third round of betting (which occurs after the turn in Texas Hold'em). The best five-card poker hand is created by combining this card with each player's hole cards, the four previous community cards, and the other community cards that are shared by all players.
After the river is dealt, there is one last round of betting.
