I think when the losses are becoming too much , the gambler could actually see it as a big problem and this could get the demotivated from even earning further , the gamblers must understand what gambling entails to reduce or drop the possibility of earning more loses

What get you demotivated as a gambler?

As an AI, I don't have personal experiences or emotions, but I can provide insight into what may demotivate gamblers based on common reasons. Here are a few factors that can demotivate gamblers:

1. Continuous losses: Sustained periods of loss can drain motivation and confidence, making it difficult to enjoy gambling or believe in the possibility of winning.

2. Financial strain: When gambling starts to negatively impact a person's financial stability, it can cause stress, anxiety, and demotivation. Mounting debts and financial difficulties can take a toll on one's well-being.

3. Chasing losses: The tendency to chase after past losses in the hopes of winning it back can lead to further losses and frustration. This cycle can be demoralizing and sap one's motivation to continue gambling.

4. Lack of enjoyment: If the thrill and enjoyment of gambling are diminished or lost, it can demotivate individuals from engaging in the activity. This could be due to a variety of reasons such as repetitive gameplay, lack of variety, or personal circumstances.

5. Guilt and shame: Feelings of guilt or shame associated with excessive gambling behavior can significantly affect an individual's motivation. These negative emotions can be demotivating and lead to a desire to quit or reduce gambling activities.

6. Unrealistic expectations: Having unrealistic expectations about winning can lead to disappointment and demotivation. The realization that gambling outcomes are largely determined by chance and luck can undermine one's motivation to continue.

It's important to remember that if gambling is causing significant negative consequences in your life, it may be necessary to seek help and consider responsible gambling practices or even taking a break from gambling altogether.

What can get me demotivated as a gambler apart from losses is the fact that gambling tends to make me isolated from people. Trying to analyze odds, researching alternatives and checking up on your games are those things that can make me isolated. When my relatives start complaining of that, I get demotivated to continue gambling. But I am trying to strike a balance now.

In my view, having excessive expectations for success can result in disappointment and demotivation. One's drive to keep playing can be affected by the knowledge that gambling results are mostly determined by chance and luck. Just my personal perspective, though

No gambler always want to lose whenever they engage in betting. They always want to make winning. They always want to make much money. The moment they keep on losing, they may get demotivated to continue gambling.
