A top line bet in roulette is a special type of bet that can be made in American roulette on the five numbers 0-00-1-2-3. This bet covers only these five numbers and pays out at 6-to-1 odds, which means that you win six times your bet amount if any of these numbers come up. It is also sometimes known as the "first five" bet. It is not available in European roulette, which has only a single zero and does not have the 00 option.
