What is badugi?

Badugi is a variant of draw poker that is played with a complete deck of 52 cards. The objective of the game is to have the lowest hand at the end of the game, with the lowest hand being a “Badugi” which is a combination of four cards of different suits and ranks. In Badugi, each player is dealt four cards and there are four betting rounds. During each betting round, players may choose to check, bet, fold, or raise and the player with the best hand at the end of the game wins the pot. Badugi is an exciting and complex game that requires players to make strategic decisions in order to win.

Usually, there are three drawing rounds in which players can trade cards to strengthen their hand. The game is played over multiple rounds. Players reveal their hands in a showdown following the drawing rounds, and the pot is won by the player with the best Badugi.
