In poker, community cards are cards that are dealt face up in the center of the table and shared by all players. They are used in conjunction with each player's private hole cards to form the best five-card hand. The most popular form of community card poker is Texas Hold'em, in which each player is dealt two private hole cards, followed by the "flop," which consists of three community cards, the "turn," which is a fourth community card, and the "river," which is a fifth and final community card. These five community cards are visible to all players, and each player can use any combination of them along with their own two hole cards to make their best possible hand.

Community cards are the ones which are shown to everybody on the poker table, to be used alongside the two cards dealt previously to all players which should be hidden from each other. They have a high degree of importance in a poker hand

There are different variations of poker that use community cards, but the most popular one is Texas Hold'em. In Texas Hold'em, each player is dealt two private cards, known as "hole cards," that belong to them alone. Then, five community cards are dealt face-up on the "board" or "flop," consisting of three cards initially, followed by one additional card on the "turn," and another one on the "river."
