Criss-cross poker is a variant of five-card stud poker in which each player is dealt seven cards, instead of the usual five. The cards are then divided into two hands, with three cards in each hand. The player then attempts to make the best five-card poker hand with the five cards in their two hands combined. The game is typically played with a single deck of cards, and can be played with up to seven players.

The middle card of the cross pattern is placed on the table by the dealer after the hole card choice. Following that, each participant chooses whether to place a Cross Bet. The Cross Bet is made in the same spot on the table as the Ante Bet and is equal to it. the remaining four community cards are revealed by the dealer one at a time, beginning with the card at the top of the cross pattern and working clockwise.
