Dahl's system in blackjack is a card counting system developed by Arnold Dahl. It is a balanced system, meaning that it doesn't require the player to keep track of a running count. Instead, the player assigns point values to the cards and then adds them up after each round to determine the count. This system assigns the values +4, 0, -1 and -2 to the 10s, Aces, 7s and 8s, respectively. The point values for other cards remain at 0. This system is considered to be an intermediate system, as it is more difficult to learn and master.
