European No Hole Card blackjack is a variant of regular blackjack in which the dealer does not take a hole card. This means that the dealer does not check for blackjack until after all players have had their turn. As a result, players are at a slightly higher risk, as the dealer may have a blackjack even if the player does not. To compensate for this, players should be more conservative when doubling or splitting their hands. European No Hole Card blackjack is popular in certain parts of Europe, but is not as widespread as regular blackjack.
