Slow poker is a variation on the traditional game of poker where players are given more time to think about their next move. This can be done in a variety of ways, such as extending the time between each betting round, extending the total time to make a decision, or allowing players to “slow roll” their opponents by taking an especially long time to make a decision. Slow poker allows players to take advantage of more strategic opportunities, such as trapping opponents with slow play or exploiting opponents who are unable to make quick decisions.
