The most frustrating thing about poker, is when the cards just ain't runnin' your way. No matter how good your play is, if lady luck ain't smiling on ya, the chips will keep slidin' away. It's also mightily vexin' when some punk with a big stack and no brains keeps calling every bet just because he can, bleedin' the pot dry.
But the most nettlesome thing of all is when some players get too big for their britches and start actin' like they're hot stuff just because they caught a few breaks. When folks forget that poker's as much about luck as skill, and start gloatin', shufflin', and stalling to try and get under your skin, that's when the anger starts boilin'. Humility and respect are what matter at the table, as important as when and how much to bet or fold. Lose that, and you lose the game. So poker rage is the worst. When it's gone, your edge is gone too.
