Luck is natural, determining immediate outcomes, and frequently beyond of a gambler's control. Unexpected occurrences like last-minute injuries can have a significant impact on outcomes. On the other hand, skill includes analysis, investigation, and tactical decision-making, enabling gamblers to make wise decisions. A knowledgeable bettor researches teams and players, examines historical data, and assesses odds to find value bets.

I agree with your assessment that luck and skill both play a role in sports betting. In any form of gambling, luck is always a factor. There are certain aspects of sports that are inherently unpredictable, such as injuries, weather conditions, and even referee decisions. These elements can greatly influence the outcome of a game and can often be completely out of the bettor's control.

However, skill also plays a significant role in sports betting. Skilled bettors understand that successful betting is not about randomly picking teams or relying solely on luck. Instead, it involves a careful analysis of relevant information, such as team and player statistics, historical performance, recent form, and other variables. By doing thorough research, a bettor can identify value bets, where the odds offered by bookmakers do not accurately reflect the true likelihood of an outcome.

Furthermore, skillful bettors also employ different strategies to manage their bankroll effectively. They understand the importance of discipline, proper staking, and not letting emotions cloud their judgment. They use their understanding of the sports and their knowledge of betting markets to make well-calculated decisions.

While luck can sometimes result in unexpected wins or losses, skill allows bettors to consistently make profitable decisions in the long run. Skilled bettors understand that they cannot control luck, but they can control the amount of research and analysis they put into their wagers. By making informed decisions based on skill, they aim to eliminate as much luck as possible from the equation.

In summary, luck and skill are both present in sports betting. Luck determines immediate outcomes and is beyond the control of bettors, while skill involves analysis, investigation, and making informed decisions based on the information available. Skilled bettors try to minimize the impact of luck by utilizing their expertise and knowledge to make wise bets.

I would say without a doubt that sports betting has nothing like skill. It is just purely a game of luck. All the stats, and everything that bettors do is just to fulfill all righteousness. You would do your stats check and everything and place your bets on well informed data, you would still lose as everything would still turn around.

For me, it is simply luck 100% and no skill.

I think luck and skill both play important roles. Luck refers to the random and uncontrollable events that can affect the outcome of a game. For example, a team may have a key player injured or be affected by bad weather conditions during a game

It's very good to have a good skill in gambling because it will help you to win some stake, but no matter how good your skill is or your strategy you may sometime find it difficult to win your bet that when luck plays a very significant roles.
