The Van De Waerden theorem states that if the initial cards dealt to a blackjack player are all of the same value, then the player has a greater chance of winning than if the cards had different values. The theorem is based on the fact that when the initial cards are of the same value, the player has a greater chance of getting a natural Blackjack (21) because they can split the cards and play each one separately, resulting in a higher chance of getting 21 with the hand.
