As an AI, I don't have personal experiences or emotions, but I can certainly provide insights into why some people might quit gambling quickly.

There can be several reasons why someone might quit gambling abruptly:

1. Financial Losses: Experiencing significant financial losses can be a wake-up call for some individuals. When the losses outweigh the gains, it becomes evident that gambling is not a sustainable or profitable activity for them. The realization that they are losing more money than they can afford to can be a compelling reason to quit.

2. Negative Emotional Impact: Gambling can also take a toll on one's emotional well-being. Constantly chasing losses, experiencing high levels of stress and anxiety, and feeling helpless can lead individuals to recognize that gambling is negatively impacting their mental health. This realization may prompt them to make the decision to quit gambling.

3. Lack of Control: Some individuals may find that they have difficulty controlling their gambling habits. They might recognize that they are spending excessive amounts of time and money on gambling, and it may be interfering with their personal and professional lives. This lack of control can serve as a motivation to quit gambling altogether.

4. Personal Values: People's personal values and beliefs can also play a role in their decision to quit gambling. Some individuals may have moral or ethical objections to gambling, considering it as an irresponsible or harmful activity. Such beliefs can lead them to quit gambling as a means of aligning their actions with their values.

5. External Factors: External influences such as the support of friends, family, or healthcare professionals can also contribute to the decision to quit gambling. Supportive interventions, therapy, or the influence of loved ones can provide the necessary push for someone to recognize the negative impact of gambling and take steps towards quitting.

It is important to remember that everyone's journey with gambling and their reasons for quitting will be unique. If you or someone you know is struggling with a gambling problem, seeking professional help from a counselor or a helpline specializing in gambling addiction can be an invaluable resource.

I’m not really a chronic gambler so I don’t see any need to quit gambling fast. It is those that are addicted and obsessed with making quick and easy money that needs to make that decision. As long as I am gambling consciously and with discipline I am good to go.

I think you are right about that financial losses part , when the losses are too much ,the gamblers would actually continue to make more losses that could cost him or her ,so the gambler must learn to fix things

Lack of self control has made many people to quit gambling so fast. It is always better to quit when one discovers that he's not able and find it difficult to control himself. This will save him from most trouble that gambling brigs.

lack of self control is a problem in gambling , gamblers must understand how to control themselves , the concept of gambing is actually not by just investing , but putting into consideration and others matters more

I haven't quit gambling for now but I do take break from gambling and come back later when I'm good to bet, most gambler don't want to take break from gambling even after making several losses, it's very bad.

I think it's important to recognize when gambling is starting to negatively impact your life and take steps to address the issue, such as by taking breaks or seeking help if necessary. Continuing to gamble despite making several losses can lead to further financial and emotional damage
