Betting on number of corners whether under or over has been a lifeline for people that bet on football. What metrics should one check to place a bet that a team would have high numbers if corners? Here are two metrics I know

Style of play: A naturally attacking team would always have at least five corners in a match.
Caliber of players: A team with pacy wingers that hug the line and deliver crosses into the box would have lots of corners in a match.

What other indicators of high number of corners do you know?

There are several other metrics to consider when determining whether a team is likely to have a high number of corners in a match. Here are a few additional indicators to consider:

1. Average number of corners per match: Look at the team's historical data to see how many corners they typically generate in a match on average. This will give you a baseline to assess their corner potential in future games.

2. Set-piece proficiency: Teams that are strong in set-piece situations such as corners and free kicks have a higher chance of earning corners. Assess the team's ability to score from set pieces and their success in creating scoring opportunities from corners.

3. Attacking statistics: Analyze the team's attacking statistics, such as shots on target, shots in the box, and crosses attempted. A team that consistently generates a high volume of attacking opportunities is likely to earn more corners.

4. Defensive weaknesses: Identify teams that struggle to defend against attacks or have vulnerabilities in aerial duels. These teams are more likely to concede corners, presenting an opportunity for their opponents to earn more corners.

5. Playing against defensive teams: When a team faces a defensively minded opponent, they often rely on crosses and set pieces to create scoring opportunities. This increases the likelihood of a higher number of corners being awarded during the match.

6. Average possession and attacking intent: Teams that dominate possession and exhibit an attacking mindset tend to spend more time in the opponent's half, increasing their chances of earning corners.

7. Recent form: Consider the team's recent performances and results. If they have been creating numerous scoring chances and earning a high number of corners consistently, it indicates a positive trend that may continue.

Remember, it's important to combine multiple metrics and indicators to make a more informed decision. Statistical analysis combined with in-depth knowledge of the teams, players, and tactical aspects of the game will enhance your chances of placing successful corner-related bets.
