I think for a gambler to reduce the amount of losses that could be made from gambling ,he or she should actually try to reduce the way he or she gamble , Because without gambling with precautions more losses could actually be made in that extent , gambling already comes with great amount of risks

What steps do you take when finding it hard to pratice responsible gambling?

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on responsible gambling. You're right that reducing the frequency and amount of gambling can be effective in reducing potential losses. However, it's also important to develop and practice responsible gambling habits to minimize the risks of developing a gambling problem.

Here are some steps you can take when finding it hard to practice responsible gambling:

1. Set a budget - Determine a specific amount of money you can afford to gamble with and stick to it. Make sure to only gamble with money you can afford to lose.

2. Take breaks - Gambling for extended periods can increase the likelihood of impulsive behavior and excessive losses. Take frequent breaks to assess your playing patterns and behavior.

3. Avoid chasing losses - Don't try to win back any losses by increasing the amount you bet. Instead, take a break and return to gambling when you're in a better mental state.

4. Seek support when needed - If you're experiencing difficulty controlling your gambling habits, don't hesitate to seek support from a professional or a support group.

Remember that responsible gambling is important for your overall well-being and financial stability. Stay informed about the risks, set boundaries, and gamble responsibly.

If you're having issues practising responsible gambling you can easily take break from gambling or seek cancelling, i think that can be of help, although practising responsible gambling is a little bit hard.

Long-term gambling can raise the risk of irrational behaviour and excessive losses. Take regular stops to evaluate your playing style and conduct.
Stay away from chasing losses by not trying to make up lost money by placing more bets. Instead, take a vacation from gambling and come back to it later on when your mood is better.

Well there was a long time where I did not follow the responsible gambling and I even became addicted, what I did to alleviate this was basically going for a walk, practice sports and socializing more until little by little I forgot about gambling and once I returned to gambling I did it with more moderation because in all that time I was away from gambling I rethought what gambling was and what it implied.

Since I'm well aware that responsible gambling is the right choice for any gambler, so i try all my best not to deviate to anything apart from it. It's even better to stop gambling than behaving irresponsibly

Initially, I don't Allow friends to influence my decision on gambling. Neither do I gamble when I'm drunk. Those are the two things that can affect my responsible gambling. Though at times when I had too much losses, I always had this inner feeling to continue in order to recover my losses, but I always wade it off.

The best step to take then is to meet with counsellor. The counsellor will help the gambler on how to make it works. Gambling addiction is a game of mind. When we are not able to win it over in our mind, it may be difficult to stop.
