Gambling has been a part of Nigeria culture for many years, at first ,it was heavily stigmatized, but the development of Technologies and openness of borders made gambling one of the most popular ways of spending time some money .
In 1990,the government has legalize games of skills through the criminal act code , so sports betting land base casino and lotteries could be enjoyed with minimum restrictions .
Currently the industry is surprised by the national lottery regulatory commission, which ensures that game provider pay taxes and Nigerians play only approved games .for example blackjack and poker.

Gambling in my region is not something strange, sport betting is very popular among every youth and adults in my country and there's no restriction whatsover, you are allowed to play bet as long as you're above the age of 18 and above

Looking at the country's major source of income now, I think gambling has helped prevent armed robbery over the years. And it seems to be the best, compared to online scamming. I am surprised that few online scammers I used to know ask me for soccer tips lately. Also, with the increased amount of tipsters, it has helped even women understand the game more. Do you think it is only men that are liable to gamble?

Gambling has now happen to be part and passu of Nigeria lifestyle. 5% out of every 10000 people are into one form of gambling.
Despite religion's negative perception towards it, some people are still engaging in gambling because they see it as their side hustles incomes.

There is one thing I have taken note of ,is that you are freely allowed to gamble in Nigeria ,the government are not placing too many restrictions on the gambler of the country ,you still have that freedom
