What countermeasures do casinos need to have in place to stop the illegal and corrupt practice of card counting collusion between dealers and professional players? While card counting itself is a legal strategy, when dealers secretly trade signals or stack the deck to assist 'team players' in counting cards, it amounts to hundreds of thousands of dollars stolen from the casinos through this corrupt cheating scheme. Strict surveillance, frequent dealer rotation and dress code rules may help deter but not eliminate this collusion. What else can casinos do to ensure a fair game for all?
