One of the numerous components of blackjack includes insurance, which is essentially an additional bet that may only be made if the dealer's card is an ace. Usually, the insurance is worth half of the person's initial wager. If the dealer makes blackjack and displays a picture card or a 10 for thier new card, it pays 2:1.
New players should be aware that purchasing insurance carries some risk. Experts often advocate against it since you will lose ones insurance wager if the dealer does not possess blackjack.
