When should you hit a 14 in blackjack?

14 seems to be a confusing figure for me in the blackjack games. one thing I noticed over here is that a lot of people are avoiding the figure and they assume that it can bring or change the odd against their favour. I learnt that people don't really know how to go about digits 14 on the board game so they are avoiding it. I want to ask you guys that When should you hit a 14?

14 stands against dealer 2 through 6, otherwise hit. 13 stands against dealer 2 through 6, otherwise hit. 12 stands against dealer 4 through 6, otherwise hit. 11 always doubles.
