I have seen experienced players split 10s, even though the basic strategy is to always hit or double down. My question is under what circumstances, if any, does it make mathematical sense to split 10s in Blackjack? From my experience playing for many years, I think splitting 10s against dealer's 7 through 9 can give you more chances to win two hands rather than one, but it goes against the basic strategy. Let me know your thoughts on this split 10s strategy.
