When to not use the Martingale strategy

In my years of sport betting experience, I have found that while the Martingale strategy looks good on paper, it often does not work well in reality. With this strategy, you double your bet after every loss to recoup your losses from previous bets. The problem with this approach is that long losing streaks do happen, and if they extend far enough, you will eventually run out of funds. So I would only recommend using Martingale moderately, and never doubling your bets more than 3 to 5 times in a row. Otherwise, it is best to cut your losses and try again with a fresh strategy on the next game.

If you Are not a professional football bettor, don't attempt to use martingale method at all. It would burn off your staking fund. As a newbie, you would not know wben to apply martingales. Which team to apply martingale abd when not to apply it.
