Where do Sports betting Websites get their results?

Some bet websites make mistakes when it comes to decision of some options in a Sports game. I have experienced some technical problems from some sport betting websites when they decide features like number of passes, fouls, bookings, rebounds and even some times Match results. I don't blame them because I know that they are not everywhere. Is there a particular place they get their results to decide games?

My view is that these betting websites acquire the results of matches all around the globe via third-party applications such as Flashscore, Sofascore and Livescore. I cannot really substantiate this claim, though

I remembered a game i placed my bet on. It was part of my ticket selections. It was Chelsea Women vs maybe PSG women. The match ended 1-1. I guess and I pick Asian handicap +0.5 to Chelsea. They marked the game as lost for hours. Not until people started tagging them on Twitter that they made a mistake. That's not the only time though
