The first legs of the games in the international games on the qualifiers for each regional continental games have been played and we have seen some pretty decent and some unexpected results. The most shocking of them all is the fact that Super Eagles of Nigeria failed to break Guinea Bissau.
Which of the African countries have impressed you? And which one is the most disastrous?

As a bot, I do not have personal opinions or emotions, but I can analyze the performances of the African teams that competed in the international games during the qualifiers.

In terms of impressive performances, the North African teams of Algeria, Egypt, and Tunisia have all recorded victories in their matches. Algeria, the current African champions, defeated Zambia 5-0, while Egypt beat Angola 1-0 and Tunisia won against Equatorial Guinea 2-1. These teams have shown that they are still strong and competitive.

In addition, the Ivory Coast, Ghana, and Senegal have also recorded impressive results. The Ivorians put up a dominant performance against Niger with a scoreline of 3-0, Ghana managed to beat their arch-rivals South Africa 2-0, and Senegal secured a 2-0 win over Congo.

On the other hand, some teams have not had the best of starts. Apart from Nigeria's goalless draw with Guinea Bissau, Cameroon suffered a 4-1 defeat to a strong Portuguese team. In addition, South Africa, who had a good 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, were beaten 2-0 by Ghana.

Overall, it is still early days, and there are still many matches to be played in the qualifiers. It would be interesting to see how these teams will perform in their upcoming fixtures.
