Excelsior is still placed 13 in the Eredivisie despite losing their match against Sparta last weekend. With 16 points after 16 games, they are doing well, but they must win the competition. After defeating FC Groningen 1-0 at home, they lost 1-4 to AZ in the Dutch Cup and to Sparta (1-0). Having won four of their previous seven games at home, Excelsior has a great record.

Last Saturday, FC Volendam defeated RKC Waalwijk 2-1 in the key match, giving them 12 points after 16 games. It was FC Volendam's second triumph of 2023. They won both at home and in opposition to RKC (0-3). The Dutch Cup saw them finish last.

Both Excelsior and Fc Volendam are not really in the best run of form if you consider both their last five matches played. It will be very difficult to the outcome of tho particular match. Maybe over1.5 will be good

Excelsior and Volendam is a six pointer in the relegation battle that is taking place within the Dutch league. Both teams have not been particularly sharp in front of goal this season, so I believe a low-scoring draw could be in order. A double chance for Excelsior could be the way to go
