Everton's recent home form has seen them drop their previous three league contests with eight goals against. The team has lost four of their previous five home games, and another setback could spell Lampard's departure from Goodison Park.

This season, Southampton has already had a new manager. The current leader, Nathan Jones, had a sluggish beginning to his tenure at St. Mary's until the previous week. The Saints advanced to the Carabao Cup semifinals by winning at Crystal Palace in the FA Cup and then defeating Manchester City there. They don't need to be relegated to the Championship, thus they'd probably prefer six points to two cup victories.
