I have written previously concerning MZT Skopje. Brae Ivey, one of their major players, was lost. Now that he has departed the team, coach Petrovic is lacking a solid quarterback. Ivey averaged 12.6 points, 5 assists, and 4 steals per game. His leaving is a serious setback. In my opinion, MZT are worse now than they were before Magdevski and Maxwell had departed the club. Since that day, Borac and Zadar have defeated them. And those were significant losses: -8 to Borac and -19 to Zadar.
Three victories out of eleven matches are shared by the weak clubs in the ABA league.
Nevertheless, MZT are out of shape and often without Ivey, so I believe Split can overcome the disadvantage.
