Who should make sure minors are not into irresponsible betting? Government or Parents?

Who should ensure that minors are not victims of the irresponsible betting? Some may argue that government should do so by ensuring that there are different laws that have been put in place to ensure that the minors do not fall victims. Some of what government can do is to ensure that the parents are fined when their children are caught in this act. Other things is to regulate the betting company.


Some people have however argued that the responsibility of protecting minors should be from the parents. They argue that parents should be the ones that will upbring their children in a godly manner for them to abstain from gambling.

Government would only do its part, the major bulk of the matter lies with the parent whose responsibility is to ensure their wards are not expose to irresponsible gambling.

both the patent and the government should actually make such known , because irresponsible gambling us taking tolls in different ways and it's better the parent start telling their child and giving them educational advice

To be honest, parents should try first before the government. Parents are the direct teachers of the wards and therefore they should be the one to do the major works before leaving the rest on the government.

I think parent should be understanding the technicality of gambling , they should be able to school their children and let them understand that gambling without risk consideration and controls could lead to more losses

i think is true that both the government and parents have important roles in protecting minors from gambling issues. The government can create laws and regulations that limit minors' access to gambling sites and promote responsible behavior among adults who gamble.
