Why are hotels in cooperating casino as part of service?

There was a time I was searching for a hotel to Lodge when I was thinking of travel out of the country.one thing I noticed is that large majority of the hotels are also having casino as part of the services they offer people.

I think hotel should be all about hospitality in which people can rest take care of themselves or to go on vacation.

Something like gambling which can cause a violent eruption among the players should not be found closer to hotels. I want to ask that why are casino I found in the hotel
