I have often wondered why Wheel of Fortune arranges the final puzzle letters in that peculiar order:
RSTLNE. After decades of watching the show, I’ve concluded it’s really just become tradition at this point. The sequence is oddly satisfying in its nonsense logic. Even as contestants solve the puzzles, that final reveal of those letters lingering on the board, in that RSTLNE form, brings a sense of familiar comfort and closure. While any other sequence would probably work just as well, RSTLNE has become deeply ingrained in the Wheel experience. It’s really quite brilliant if you think about it!
