Why did the government of your country accept gambling?

It is obvious that government of so many countries do not want to support gambling simply because they believe that their citizens need to be protected from being addicted to gambling which could destroy their life and that is why they would want to ban it . Some countries would even ban gambling based on their religious beliefs, other countries would want to accept gambling and they will allow their citizens to engage in different games.

one thing I can say is that the government of my country don't really know what they stand for so they accept whatever comes their way. they don't always differentiate the good and bad side of any program introduced to them. They just accept it so far they are going to make more money from it through taxation.

Government may accept it because gambling from the positive side can be a source of income and as well it serves as a source of employment. These may be the reasons why government may decide to allow betting.

the governments of my country adopt united state of American style of government so large majority of the things they are stepped over there are also accepted by the government of my country. Another reason is that they are going to make money from taxing the casino companies.

probably they have seen the opportunities and benefits attached to gambling , like they could benefit off from taxation and others , this made them welcome and considers gambling more than ever ,many don't even have plans to ban gambling

The government accepted gambling is because it is another way to generate revenue. The government generated money from the Casinos from taxes they collect from them and it is very huge.
