Why Do Gamblers Keep Playing Even After Losing?

Simply like it is difficult for an alcoholic or drug drug user to discontinue using their drug of choice, it is also difficult for gambling addicts to "kind of stop".

Gamblers get a thrilling experience both when they win and when they lose. Players are encouraged to continue gambling because of the uncertainty involved. A degenerate gambler will think they are one bet away from the jackpot, and many people think that gambling is somewhat a game of skill.

Some people believe that if they lose the first time the second time will be their Luck which is one of the reasons why people will have to bet with all they have believing that they will win back their Lose money

Some people usually believe that it's not good to lose hope in life that one day what they will get what they're chasing but i don't think this should apply to gambling. Do not gamble with money you can't afford to lose. And most times also, addiction is the reason some people can't stop gambling even after many loses

Some of they think that they can actually win the second round if they don't win at the first round not knowing that they are gradually losing their money , but at time you might be very lucky to win the second round after you lost in the first round ,this is the believe that many gamblers have in their mind.

Gamblers would keep playing games even after losing huge amount of money basically because they believe that they can still recover their losses based on the level of experience and expertise that they have garnered.

They believe that there is still possibility to make gain even after the loss , so this contributes to the never giving up interest in gambling , they would just keep gambling till they start seeing more profit

It is of two instances. Some may stop playing and start reflecting over their losses. Some as well may continue betting and never learn any lesson. But the fact is that they should stop to reflect on their losses.
