Why do most parents hate gambling?

The reasons why you see your parents warning you about gambling is because they have probably gone through that stage before, it's hard to see an adult who hasn't gambled before when he/she was young and they have witnessed a lot of damages which were done by gambling so they try to avoid it at all cost.

They know gambling is totally by choice although the gamblers seems to think of their probability of winning and forgetting they can lose their cash in a blink of an eye too.

Gambling is no work and it is not a good way of making money parents know this so they will never demand that their children go that route. You would be killing your child if you suggest this so they love their kids so much to suggest this.
