Why do offline casinos have such low RTPs?

Online casinos generally have a higher RTP (return-to-player percentage) compared to land-based casinos. One possible reason for this difference is that online casinos have much lower overhead costs than brick-and-mortar casinos. Online casinos do not have to pay for the maintenance and upkeep of physical casino locations, and they do not have to pay for as many staff members. As a result, online casinos may be able to offer a higher RTP for their games. Additionally, some sources suggest that land-based casinos may have more regulatory requirements and taxes to pay, which could also impact the RTP.

I still do not believe that offline casino has a low payback percentage because most of the offline casinos has a payback percentage that is above 90% and that is quite reasonable and attractive as well.

Operating a real casino frequently requires the acquisition of licenses, permits, and certifications, all of which may incur fees. These costs can contribute to the requirement for a specific revenue threshold in order to be profitable.

I think not most of the online casinos are only after making huge amount of profit and that is why they have a very low return to player percentage . The brick-and-mortar casinos has considerably high rtp that players can still be comfortable with.

The cost of running brick-and-mortar casino is very high and that could be accounted for the low return to player percentage. I think it is understandable in that way because the expenses is quite high.
