Why do some people sell their properties just to Gamble?

This might not be something you have experienced but in my country I have had experiences where many people who got addicted to gambling sell their properties just because they can't afford to stake on a game, most people like this end up having nothing to show later in their lives but why do the do this?

It all starts when they start gambling and they win some money when they don't win other games they still have the believe that they'll win another and keep staking and staking and sell whatever they have just to have money to keep staking with the hope of winning.

Selling of properties to gamble it's very common in the Western countries and that is exactly what they do over there . if you go to the football pitch and you see fans crying at the pitch, you must have known that we have gambled their houses.

Some of those that engage in selling of properties do not really have much orientation on how betting world is. Gambling world is full more of luck rather than skill. That's why we don't need to be betting much on it.

Some people make insane decisions in the name of gambling, and putting your properties or valuables as collateral is one of them. This is where the individual has become so hell bent on either recovering a loss or being addicted to the venture

I am still bemused as to why individuals engage in such a practice, because there is no assurance of you getting enough money to profit from this kind of transaction. While it is true that desperate times calls for desperate measures, this is too much.

Your point is extremely valid. Gamblers have an innate desire to be wealthy, so much so that they would be willing to sacrifice their own properties, just to stand a chance at this pipe-long dream. This behaviour is quite irrational

Out of desperation, gamblers tend to be involved in some illogical decisions of this nature. They should be wiser and desist from engaging in these kind of activities all because of an inordinate desire to obtain money.

One of the reason that people do sell their property to gamble is because of gambling addiction which is a very bad idea, when you're been addicted to gambling is a very bad habits which can lead to depression and can also affect mental health of the individual
