Coming to Nigeria, you will observed that all economic projects are down since 2015 till date. Our refineries are not productive. No steady supply of electricity and as such, most working industries are generating their power sources on fuel which inadvertently added to the cost of production which is eventually borne by the final consumers. Most businesses that can not bear the situation have either closed down or relocated to neighboring countries. The cost of living in Nigeria is very high. The youths are ready to work but no industries to work. The cost of establishing a business is very high and discouraging. What other alternatives do you think our youths would have tgan resorting to gambling?.

The economic situation of the country, government nonchalant attitude in regulating the betting sector has really made the betting sector to be thriving in Nigeria. Most youth depend on it for their financial freedoms.

If betting is regulated in Nigeria and there is much emphasis on age limitations on gambling, I am very sure that it won't be that thriving. Checking the rate of people involving in betting may make them slow down with it.

Gambling is becoming more and more rampant because there are no favourable conditions available for them to thrive in terms of employment. Therefore they have to use this as an escape from abject poverty

No other means than providing legal jobs for our youths. betting and gambling are even doing more harm than good to our youths. So it is better that they seek jobs online and do they ones they can do. Sometimes we just have to find jobs ourselves
