Why is hit and run strategy not popular?

In poker, a "hit and run" strategy refers to leaving the game immediately after winning a big pot. While it may appear as a profitable strategy in the short term, it is generally considered bad etiquette and may lead to other players developing a negative perception of you. Moreover, it may result in missed opportunities to win even more chips in the long run as other players may be more likely to call your bets or raises if they believe you won't stick around for long. Therefore, it is generally not considered a viable or sustainable strategy, and instead, it is recommended to focus on making sound decisions based on the cards, pot odds, and other factors at play, rather than unnecessarily worrying about short-term results
