Why must depressed stay away from gambling?

Gambling usually has no guarantees of losing or winning. And the possibility of losing is higher than winning, that means someone that is already depressed might aggravate if he or she uses gambling as a coping mechanism. When he loses money to add to the depression, it might reach peak levels that might turn sinister.

People who are depressed are at a higher risk for developing a gambling addiction, and gambling can make depression worse. This is because gambling can be a way to escape from the negative feelings associated with depression, but it can also lead to financial problems and other issues that can make depression worse.

That's a really great point you made. Losing money on top of dealing with depression can make the depression worse, and it can also lead to more serious issues like gambling addiction or financial ruin. It's important to find healthy coping mechanisms for depression, such as exercise, therapy, and social support.

I believe so true too that the depressed must stay away from gambling , because for them not to get depressed more and have problem , they should understand the concept of gambling properly or better still they stay clear from it too

There are several reasons why people with depression should stay away from gambling. First, gambling can be very addictive, and it can be difficult to stop once someone starts. This can lead to a cycle of losing money, which can exacerbate feelings of depression. Second, gambling can be a way to escape from negative emotions, but it ultimately makes those emotions worse in the long run. Finally, gambling can lead to financial problems, which can add even more stress and pressure to someone who is already struggling with depression. For these reasons, it's important for people with depression to seek help from a professional, rather than turning to gambling as a solution.

Engaging in gambling can be risky for individuals dealing with depression due to the potential negative impact on their mental health. The unpredictable nature of gambling outcomes may exacerbate stress and anxiety, further worsening depressive symptoms. Additionally, financial losses from gambling can contribute to increased feelings of hopelessness and despair.

My point exactly. gambling problems pile up when one is depressed. This might make you begin to neglect your responsibilities just to gamble which is wrong. So the depressed need to stay away from gambling for a while.
