I didn't got to know about insurance in blackjack until one of my guys say it that it is one of the strategy to minimise loss when playing blackjack. but while I was discussing this with another guy he said that it is not a good strategy to check on insurance while playing blackjack. The question I want to ask you guys is that Why should you never take insurance in blackjack?

I think In blackjack, insurance is a side bet that you can place when the dealer's upcard is an Ace. The insurance bet is offered to players as a way to protect themselves in case the dealer has a natural blackjack (a hand containing an Ace and a 10-value card) with their down card. If you take insurance, you are essentially betting that the dealer has a natural blackjack.
