Why the rate of crimes are growing in Nigeria

A country that is unable to care for its citizens especially the youths is bound to has higg rate of crime. Such is the situation in Nigeria. The youths that supposed to be found in economic sector are found in gambling. Not only gambling but irresponsible gambling. This is as a result of relying heavily on gambling. Consequently, many of them had landed into indebtedness as a result of their addiction. Because of this, they resorted to any ways they could get money be it crimes. It is only government that can help in this situation by reviving the economy and cause the youths to be engaged economically.

I don't really want to believe that betting is responsible for the rate of criminal activities in Nigeria. There are other factors which include economic hardship. There are many people that are living beyond the poverty line.

Most of the time when gamblers have no job and they are so addicted to gambing , they won't actually understand the next step to take and it's actually not good , they should understand every aspect of gambling
