Will casinos accept an expired ID?

There's this big casino down the road that let me play for a couple hours the other night even though my driver's license expired last month. I had forgot all about renewing it with everything else going on. When I went to get a drink at the bar, the ID checker barely glanced at it before waving me through. I know casinos are loose with their rules and all, but come on! An expired license ain't valid. How are they gonna know if I'm actually over 21 if they don't check proper ID? Somebody needs to tell them to get with the program or they're gonna have underage kids gambling all over the place. What do you guys think about this lax security?

based on my observation am not sure if the casino platform would accept an expired id , they all have their rules And regulations , even important won't accept an expired id card in that order too , it's actually noticeable to some extent

Casino website will not allow you expired documents. They will always request for the recent documents while doing your Know Your Customers sessions. This will make it possible for the company to match the owner with the document
