William Hill has declared that it will sponsor the Grade 1 Formby Novices' Hurdle at Aintree on Boxing Day, the first-ever event of its kind. Six of the seven races on the card are part of this partnership; the Grade 1 race is now formally known as the William Hill Formby Novices’ Hurdle.
The objective of this collaboration is to enhance William Hill's visibility in the racing industry by sponsoring 20 races on December 26–27. Furthermore, the operator continues to be the Grand National Festival's official betting partner.
