William Hill set to become title sponsor of Scottish Professional Football League

William Hill is reportedly in talks to take over as the Scottish Professional Football League's new title sponsor.

Following Cinch's announcement last year that it was ending its partnership, the league was reportedly searching for a new primary sponsor. It is now being reported that William Hill and the league are almost at an agreement to take over.

Scotland's top four divisions will get £2 million annually from the five-year agreement, which is more than Cinch's previous offer of £1.6 million annually.

The report clarifies that the £10 million deal will be a league record as a result.
