Although the owners of the recently completed casino resort in East Hazel Crest, Illinois, say they are still awaiting final state approval, Wind Creek Chicago Southland is scheduled to open next week.
The casino floor at Wind Creek Chicago Southland is 70K square feet and features 1,400 slot machines, 56 table games with a live dealer, a poker room, and a sportsbook. The 16-story hotel features a 75K-square-foot entertainment hall, 12,000 square feet of event space, 252 guestrooms and suites, and multiple dining options.
