Workers at the MGM Grand Detroit have ended their strikes after reaching a labor agreement.

The Detroit Casino Council announced an end to labor strikes at MGM Grand Detroit after union members voted overwhelmingly to approve a new contract. This concludes the strikes at Detroit's three casinos, initiated on October 17.

The five-year deal includes the largest wage increase for MGM Grand Detroit workers, offering an immediate $3 per hour raise and $5 per hour total raises over the contract.
