WSL: LAUREN HEMP SCORES AS MANCHESTER CITY MAKE TITLE STATEMENT WITH CHELSEA WIN, ASTON VILLA THRASH LEICESTER

Manchester City dealt Chelsea a blow in defence of their Women’s Super League crown while making a title statement of their own.
Goals from Filippa Angeldahl and Lauren Hemp gave City a thoroughly deserved 2-0 win, moving them up to second place in the table, level on points with leaders and rivals Manchester United.

The result also pushes the Blues - who have a game in hand on the Manchester clubs - down to third with their first league defeat since the opening day of the season.

I really won't care much if Chelsea female team won't win the league this season. They've been so great and they won the last year own. I think it's Tim the Chelsea female team concentrate on European competition because they've not been great if it comes to Europe
