X fined €1.35 million for violating the Italian gambling advertising ban.

Italy fined X, once Twitter, €1.35m for breaking gambling ad rules. The penalty stems from X promoting betting on its platform, violating Italy's 2019 dignity decree.

Nine verified X accounts showcased gaming and betting sites, making X responsible. Two active accounts face access restrictions.

Earlier, Meta faced a €5.58m fine for similar offenses. Google, and YouTube also received penalties for breaching the ad ban.
