In July, members of an international crime syndicate kidnapped him in Estonia, but an Australian gaming billionaire stopped them, according to court documents.

The unsuccessful kidnapping occurred a few days before Heath's $100 million high roller casino hotel, the Bombay Club, which is situated on the same street in Tallinn as his apartment, opened for business.
