YouTuber convicted of gambling in Japan confesses to addiction

A prosecutor was informed by a Japanese YouTuber that he would likely find himself gambling again after receiving a suspended prison sentence for placing bets at an online casino. The YouTuber acknowledged that he found it difficult to stop gambling.

At the age of 20, he had his first gambling experience. He first developed an addiction to gambling that was conducted by the public, like horse and boat racing. He started uploading videos to YouTube in 2017 of his wagering and horse racing forecasts.
